Once again, the alignment of calendars (Hijri and Gregorian) provides a unique opportunity for Christians and Muslims to honor and share their spiritual traditions of fasting.

To foster interfaith understanding, the Edmonton Council of Muslim Communities and the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Edmonton are hosting Interfaith Evening of Hymns and Nasheed while also sharing the Fast – an evening of dialogue and prayer which culminates in breaking a day of fasting with a vegetarian meal.
